~DIOR VERNIS – CROISETTE SWATCHES~
This color I thought was fun to wear. The almost teal blue reminded me of a Tiffany blue, yet a shade lighter. The St. Tropez is a repromote from Dior but extremely limited and hard to find. I used two coats, which did not streak, applied evenly and most importantly, it was opaque.
With it’s peachy – pink – salmon tone, I like how the color is not too vibrant nor too boring to wear on a regular basis. I applied two coats which had perfect coverage and did not streak.
~DIOR VERNIS – SUMMER MIX SWATCHES~
This color out of the entire collection is my favorite. I love the subtle red, vibrant color which wasn’t too deep nor too orange. Believe it or not, I applied only one coat of this specific color which covered evenly and did not streak.
As fun and vibrant as this color may be, I was disappointed at the application. It streaked and for some reason was more runny than the others from the collection. It’s lucid application resulted in me placing three coats to get the true yellow from the bottle.
I love how bold and velvety the blue turned out when it was actually on my nails. This was my first time ever wearing a shade aside from the reds and pinks so to my surprise, I really liked this blue on me. The application went on smooth and you can easily wear one coat but I decided to add two.
This shade I thought was more of a bubble gum pink. Perfect to add just a light pop of color to your summer. Did not streak and applied well with two coats.
I had so much fun reviewing and showing off my Summer fun colors from Dior’s Croisette and Summer Mix Collection 2012. With only one disappointing color, I have to say that I highly recommend any one of the swatches from each collection. Being a mom of two and constantly washing my hands, the colors surprisingly lasted a little more than a week for me without chipping or fading at the tips. I also like the brush for Dior Vernis as it’s wide and rounded at the tips which makes for a faster more precise application towards the cuticles.
